From the Intelligent Series comes the Timex SL, a black dial with beige white numerals and hands driven by fly-back movement. Crafted from a solid casting of steel, this not-quite-traditional chronograph pleases your senses, from the curves of its anatomy to the tactile experience of its pushers. But the dial is the most striking feature. Independent bi-directional hands measure time and fly back like the dashboard gauge of a sports car.
The movement accounts for the length of time it takes for the stop-reset-restart to take place and positions the chronograph second hand in the proper position for the current elapsed time for the current timing segment. When the Chronograph is not in operation, the upper sub-dial displays ‘hours’ for a 2nd time zone.
For Timex’s trademark Indiglo night light, press the crown or button to activate. Electroluminescent technology used in the INDIGLO night-light illuminates the entire watch face at night or in low light conditions. The watch is 100 m (330ft) water resistant.
